The West Bokaro Division occupies a leasehold area of 4300 acres. The primary product of West Bokaro is the metallurgical grade coal or coking coal (used for iron making while the useful by-products are middlings, tailings, & rejects). West Bokaro fulfills approximately 40% of Coking Coal requirement of Tata Steel Works.

Existing Facilities:The Company has established well-planned residential colonies, recreational clubs, Hospital, Sports Complex and Golf Course for employees serving at the location.
